Javelina Roundup 2026

Winter has gone by fast, and the spring rallies are just around the corner. It's time to start planning for the fall rallies as well! 2026 has brought some major changes to the Javelina Roundup planning process. The Javelina Roundup will be held at Davis Mountains State Park from 28 September to 4 October 2026.

In the past, we could block the majority of Davis Mountains State Park for five working days, while each of you could call in, select your site number, and reserve your spot. That process is no longer allowed by TPWD Group Reservations Office. 

The short version is that they have changed their credit card processing company, and individual transactions within a group reservation are no longer allowed. The new process works well for major corporations who "buy" blocks of sites for a set period of time, then manage internally who gets which sites. The group leader must pay for the entire group at the time of making the reservation. Individual changes and cancellations must be handled internally to the group by the group leader so the TPWD group office is no longer managing individual site changes.

Therefore, we must wait until the 5-month window to make our individual reservations. The rules are:

You can make your reservation exactly 5 months before the date you plan to arrive. Example: If you want to arrive on 28 September, you can make your reservation starting 28 April. You are able to reserve up to 14 days after your arrival date. 

Sorry for the change in plans, but I have exhausted our options. You'll have to make individual reservations at the 5-month window.
